Program

Day 1
On day 1 we leave from the city to the village of Witagron. This will be a car ride of about five hours on one of the bauxite roads that Suriname has. Once arrived in the village it is time for a nice lunch and the things will be transferred from the car to the boat. After this the journey is continued by boat. It is still about 3 hours of sailing to the camp where you will stay. In the evening there is time for a wonderful evening meal and it is important to rest well for the next day.

Day 2
Day two we get up early to have breakfast. After this we are ready to climb the Voltzberg. Beforehand we will take a long walk through the jungle and come across the most beautiful animals and plants. Once arrived at the foot of the mountain it is time to climb the mountain of 240 meters high. Climbing itself does not last long and will be rewarded with a beautiful view over the Jungle of Suriname. After we enjoyed the breathtaking view, it is time to descend again and we will continue the walk and go back to the camp. On the way back we make a small stop at the Anjoemara waterfall to cool off. Of course there is delicious cooking again in the evening.

Day 3
Day three starts again with a delicious breakfast. After breakfast it is time to visit the Raleighvalen, also known as mother's. We take the boat to Lolopasi to take a short walk through nature to the mother's.
After the visit to the mother, it is time to return by boat to the village of Witagron, where we also have lunch. From here we will continue our road by car back to Paramaribo.

Note:
This trip comes with a long travel time by car and boat, a basic accommodation and requires a good condition to climb the Voltzberg.

When booking the Dorial Seminaries option, we temporarily put on a camping tent with air mattress.
